Manhattan being one of the five boroughs in New York can be quite interesting to visit because it has all the famous touring spots for people out for the thrill of their lives. From the well-known Empire State Building, Central Park and Times Square to the trendiest districts of SoHo and Greenwich Village, Manhattan is everything you’ve ever dreamed of.
Other remarkable places outside of Manhattan could also attract tourists too. Brooklyn maybe heavily populated but a stop in Coney Island, music venues and beaches is definitely worth the trip. Queens on the other hand is home to New York Mets professional baseball team, major airports in New York and United States Open Tennis center. If you were a fan of the Yankees, then Bronx is the place to be. But if you opt for a suburban feel, the Richmond County better known as Staten Island is absolutely the right place for you.
Not only is New York famous for its landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, World Trade Center, and Brooklyn Bridge but also brag about having the best museums in the world. The Guggenheim Museum, Metropolitan Museum of Art and Whitney Museum of American Art clearly shows how arts and culture is a big part of their lives.
Of course, a road trip wouldn’t be complete without trying out the best food the city has to offer. If you happen to be at Broadway and 107th Street, don’t forget to buy bagel that is to die for. A New York Deli sandwich and hot dog is a definite must-try as well as New York’s famous pizza, egg cream and cheesecake. What a delightful way to end the day!
